February Caddo Tribe Meeting
The Ruggieros did an outstanding job hosting our February Meeting! Girls and dads mingled and then we were treated to dinner and dessert. Girls built and decorated a leather Native American purse. Fred told us a story that motivated the girls to "focus on the good". Girls each had an opportunity to speak in front of the group about what they did since our last meeting. Enjoy the pictures!
2011 Federation Winter Campout
The weather was outstanding at the winter campout. Highs were around 70 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Friday night we had chicken enchiladas and enjoyed smores around the campfire.The next morning we ate breakfast and then prepared the girls for the kickball tournament to be played later that day. We took the kids to see the "Reptile Guy." The girls got to touch many snakes and other reptiles. The girls had their kickball tournament against one of the other tribes and dominated!
As usual, Tommy treated us to a wonderful dinner of smoked pork loin. We headed to the bonfire and watched the Crow Tribe win the "Olympic Competition" for the Princess Nation.
Sunday morning, the girls sang songs at the devotional and listened to an important message from one of our fellow Nation members. Enjoy the video below from the devotional.
