Fall Princess Campout 2009

What a great time! Weather was a little chilly Friday night but the rest of the weekend was perfect. Friday night the girls got into their Halloween costumes and put on a fashion show. Saturday the girls went on a geocaching hike, carved pumpkins, and went fishing. They celebrated Isabel's birthday by eating cupcakes and getting messy. That night they attended the bonfire and went on a very scarey haunted trail. They will remember the trail for a while. The girls had smores and cobbler around the campfire and headed for bed. The dads stayed up late and played a new card game that Tommy introduced - Up and Down the River. I predict the game will become a Caddo Tribe tradition. Enjoy the pictures below. 2009 Spring Princess Campout

The Spring Campout was a lot of fun. The weather turned out to be pretty good. Saturday we started out having breakfast together as a tribe. We went down to the lake to do some fishing and ran into someone who agreed to give us a tour of the lake on his boat. After, Allen treated us to a great lunch. Some of the girls went on a long hike. We ate dinner together at the local restaurant. That night was the bonfire and we won "New Tribe of the Year"! We also witnessed the head dress exchange for the new chiefs. That night we were treated to peach cobbler and Curtis' famous homemade ice cream. Click on the link below for a few pictures I took (mostly of Madison).

2009 Daddy Daughter Dance

The Daddy Daughter Dance was a big success! The girls had a great time dancing. They watched Bongo Bill put on a puppet show and are looking forward to hearing themselves on the radio this Saturday some time between 10 & 10:30am on 90.9FM. Here are some pictures I took during the dance.
